The 24th Bath Festival of Boats at Pulteney Weir, 10th - 11th June 2006
The Bath Festival of Boats has been held on the 2nd weekend in June every year since 1982. The event is organised by Tony Boyce, of the Cabot Cruising Club, and his band of helpers.

Next year is Silver Jubilee year and will be a very special 'do'. Fine weather is again guaranteed, as it has been for the last three years. The event has a limit of 50 boats in the space allocated by Bath City Council.

Barbecue facilities were provided in the evenings and we were entertained by a live duo "The Dave Ewins Combo" on the Saturday evening, who got most folk up and dancing on the walkway with their sheer energy and popular songs.

For some reason I didn't get any photos of the band during the evening, so I would appreciate it if anyone else has some good photos they could send me at pics@onmyboat.co.uk
