Below - At Harry's Bar, in St Georges Concert Hall basement area, Ruth Royall plays the first of her numbers on the keyboard on Sat 12 April 2008.
 Despite suffering a 'croaky throat' as did Bashema (the support act) Ruth managed to sing, and play her way sweetly through her gig at Harry's Bar in the basement of St Georges. 
Ruth in the spotlight and poor Geoff Royall playing a great bass-line, but hidden away in the shadows. Ruth did beckon him forward, but being the gentleman he was, he opted to let Ruth stay in the spotlight, as it was 'her' night.  As well as her slow songs Ruth can really bash that guitar when she wants, here singing her fast number "Face her fiction". |
